Direct the supply cord and place the heated base properly to shield from livestock damage. 5. Allow 30 minutes for the unit to warm to temperature. The upper exterior of the product will get exceedingly hot to the touch. 6. Unplug, clean, and store when not in use. 7. Store the heater base indoors after the winter season.
